A few days ago I did an interview with Kristoffer Zetterstrand. The bloke which did the Painting art in Minecraft.
His Website - Here!
His Twitter - Here! Go Follow Him!
Let's Go!
Me: First, explain to those who do not know who you are.
Zetterstrand: Hi! I'm an artist living and working in Stockholm, Sweden.
Me: To those that do not know, which game have you recently done artwork for?
Zetterstrand: A Little game called Minecraft.
Me: Awesome, do you play the game?
Zetterstrand: Sure. I've set up a server for my daughter and we build stuff together now and then.
Me: What do you think of the new update?
Zetterstrand: Potions and Enchantments are fun but it is a pity they removed Herobrine.
Me: Haha, what are your opinions of texture packs in the game?
Zetterstrand: It's a great thing for those that wish to customise the game to their liking.
Me: Have you been contacted by the guys at Mojang about doing any more art for the game?
Zetterstrand: We'll see. There's still a few pixels left in the png-file...
Me: Awesome! Did you go to Minecon?
Zetterstrand: But of course!
Me: Final Question, what inspired you to become an artist?
Zetterstrand: Mostly watching great paintings at museums as a kid. I felt the need to learn more about how the stuff was made. I'm still learning...
-End Interview-

Interview with Madmommy - A 'Minecraft Mom'
Today's interview was with Madmommy. A mom who plays Minecraft with her son and husband on her channel. She's very nice and I recommend that you subscribe and follow her!
@Madmommy on Twitter
Madmommy on YouTube
TheRussianPigeon: Okay, First Off, Explain who you are to those that do not know who you are.
madmommy: I'm a mom, wife, and fogey-gamer who is slightly "mad". I started playing Minecraft about a year ago, and was introduced to the MInecraftwb server. After watching Wolv21 and Luclin, I tried my hand at YouTube, and here we are at 2000 subs!
TheRussianPigeon: That's pretty awesome. Are you enjoying the 1.0.0 update?
madmommy: So far I'm most in love with the new sounds, especially the Ender sounds. That seriously freaked me out. I just wish I had more time, as I'm also currently in school to become a teacher.
TheRussianPigeon: Haha. The new sounds are pretty cool. Did you attend Minecon this year?
madmommy: No, but I wish I had! MrsLuclin and I have decided we need to go next year, and have a panel discussion (including PaulSoaresjr"s wife) on the MOMs (Moms of Minecraft).
TheRussianPigeon: Haha, I couldn't go because of school and the fact that I'd have to catch a plane half way across the world :D What would you like to see added to the game in future updates?
madmommy: I wish they would officially add in the Aether, and more animals (such as Mo Creatures). Both are GREAT mods and deserve a permanent home in the official game.
TheRussianPigeon: Yeah. Have you ever tried creating a mod?
madmommy: That's been beyond me so far. Maybe when I have more time I'll give it a try, but I think I'd rather try and create a nice texturepack.
TheRussianPigeon: Haha. What do you prefer, SinglePlayer or MultiPlayer?
madmommy: Multi-player, but only with close friends or family. Which is ironic, because I met many of my close Minecraft friends through a large online environment. My son, Yam (his Minecraft name), likes to play with my husband and I, but we have to turn off "bad-ful" mode (no monsters).
TheRussianPigeon: That's actually really awesome :) Do you prefer Survival or Creative?
madmommy: Survival. Period. Creative mode drives me nuts...I'm always breaking things! I will sometimes slip into Creative mode during one of our family sessions to seek out villages, or to produce some coveted items. But I'm not big into the building...I love the exploring!
TheRussianPigeon: That's what Minecraft is about! Which Version of Minecraft was the one which you played with first?
madmommy: I believe I bought Beta right after the Halloween update.
TheRussianPigeon: Nice! What is your favourite mob in the game?
madmommy: Hmmm. That's a tough one. If I could pick one from a mod, I'd say the Moa. But otherwise, I like creepers. Not that I like how they act, I just admire them for being the smartest mob in the game.
TheRussianPigeon: Yeah. If you could remove one thing from the game, what would it be?
madmommy: The villagers. I understand they will eventually have a purpose, but they are ugly as sin. What's with the big noses? And they are dumber than sheep :)
TheRussianPigeon: Haha. Last question, Which other games do you play? :)
madmommy: I've done a series on the Fogey Gaming channel on both Atari 2600 games and Myst. However, I've played Terraria in the past, and am currently addicted to Dragon Age: Origins.
TheRussianPigeon: Thank You Very Much!
End Interview
All in all madmommy is awesome and it's worth subscribing to her on youtube and following her on twitter.

Okay, I know I haven't posted for a day, so here you guys go.
My Top 5 Games Like Minecraft
5. [PC] Roblox - A sandbox MMO where you build things - aimed at younger users
4. [XBOX360] Fortress Craft - Pretty much the same but not as good as Minecraft.
3. [XBOX360] Total Miner - A little more developed and personally I prefer it to Fortress Craft.
2. [iOS] Eden World Builder - Although It does not have survival mode, the creative is brilliant and it has a lovely community. Perfect for iOS.
1. [PC] Terraria - 2D Sandbox game, except the emphasis is more on exploration whereas Minecraft's emphasis is on building.

Update and Minecraft Review
Today, I recorded 3 Episodes worth of a Survival Series.
If you wanna join me, I will say when I'm next recording
A Special Minecraft Review For Y'all
WARNING : THIS IS NOT A 10/10 Review
The game Minecraft is game by Game Developers Mojang and mainly Markus Persson (Notch).
The game itself is a Indie/Sandbox game where you roam around building and exploring during the day and at night monsters come out and try to kill you. The game is currently available for Computer, Android and iOS. During spring 2012 the game will be release for XboX 360. Currently 'Survival' Mode is only available for Computer.
First, let's talk about the actual gameplay. The best thing about Minecraft is the gameplay, although it may seem boring to a gamer used to FPS' or Puzzle games, the gameplay in Minecraft is some of the best you can get these days. There's always something to do and the game is pretty much unlimited to what you can do. There is never a moment when you think to yourself 'there's nothing to do'. There is a thing about Minecraft which means however you like playing games, Solving Puzzles, Shooting Enemies, Going on an Adventure and Playing sports, you can do all of this in Minecraft. Gameplay - 9/10
Next, I will talk about the graphics. As a friend of some Anti-Minecrafters, their reason for not playing the game is the 'bad graphics'. To some people the graphics are what makes the game what it is but to others, it is just 'bad'. Personally, I would not call the graphics 'bad' but I would call them 'different'. As most game developers try their best to have the top graphics available. Overall, the graphics are a part of the game which can be compared to Marmite, you either love it or you hate it. Graphics - 7/10
I will now talk about the music for the game. The soundtrack and most of the sounds for the game are made by C418. Before Minecraft was a popular hit, C418 was not the most popular musician in the world but now he is well known amongst the Minecraft Community. The soundtrack is great and provides perfect music for the spooky cavern or the lovely day. Music - 9/10
Unfortunately, there are faults with Minecraft as there is with every game. The Minecraft community itself can sometimes be a bit dodgy. The community is full of players called 'Griefers' who's pure aim is to ruin the game for others by destroying all their builds on multiplayer. Mojang have not done enough to stop this but I am sure that there are somethings that can be done. The game itself is also highly buggy, in the latest update (1.0.0) players have encountered an error when playing on multi-player which doesn't allow a player to connect to the server he/she wants to play on. There are also tons of glitches such as the world not generating correctly and mobs (creatures) glitching out. I believe that Mojang could have focused more on eliminating these 'bugs' and problems rather than releasing the full game and working on new features. Overall Score Point Loss - 6
In conclusion, Minecraft is a game which once you start playing it, you get used to all the faults and it becomes extremely fun, although to a new player or someone who hasn't played it before and prefers other games, it my seem slightly, childish, stupid and rubbish.
The Overall Score For My Review Is - 19/30
Gameplay - 9
Graphics - 7
Music - 9
Faults - -6
Overall 19/30
Rank : Good.

P.S.
Here is the complete changelist.
Fixes & Changes:
- New achievements
- Glowstone changed from "stone" to "glass".
- Amount of Experience Orbs dropped by a player on death now limited.
- The ability of Endermen to carry blocks reduced in some way.
- Minor changes to some textures (most notableMonster Spawner).
- Ghast fireballs have a different texture.
- On death, a proper score is given based on how many experience orbs the player has collected.
- When flowing lava hits a water source directly from above, it creates Stone where previously the lava would flow through the water.
- You can toggle between three states when pressing F5 (first person, third person back, third person front), having the addition of 3rd person view from the front.
- Ender Pearls have a unique ability. When thrown, the player will teleport to the Ender Pearl's impact location, but take 2 and 1/2 hearts of fall damage. They will not work in Creative.
- Golden Apples now glow purple in inventory.
- Fences no longer block you from moving onto their space. You can now stand next to them, like you can with glass panes and iron bars.
- They will also connect to solid blocks.
- There is a slight delay between jumps when holding down the jump button, so that the player no longer bounces between ceiling and floor in two-block-high spaces.
- Labels for items have a blue border.
- Random loot chests in Strongholds.
- Blocking now moves the player's arm, rather than the sword just floating right in front of the player.
- Weapon and tool damage has been nerfed to make space for the increased damage enchantments (Diamond swords do 3.5 hearts now instead of 5).
