Andrew Judd: I am juddaba and i am a forum moderator on PMC :3
charzhoopz: Hello, i am charzhoopz. I am a forums moderator on planet minecraft :)
kacboy: I am kacboy, gone by this username since '08. I like Minecraft and Uncharted. I was one of the first moderators on Planet Minecraft
Sam Wilson: Awesome.

Sam Wilson: Did any of you attend Minecon?
kacboy: *raises hand*
charzhoopz: I could not, since i don't even have a passport :$
Andrew Judd: i couldnt unfortunatly as i live in lil ol New Zealand
Sam Wilson: Aww, I didn't go this year. School and all that.
kacboy: pssh school
Andrew Judd: yeah, and finals at school would have been an issue aswell as money...it would have cost me ALOT xD

Sam Wilson: You guys enjoying the Minecraft 1.0.0 Update?
Andrew Judd: um, its OK
kacboy: Not as much as I'd like
charzhoopz: Yeah, i never thouhgt minecraft would result in potions 'n' such, but i'm starting to get the hang of it.
kacboy: I would enjoy it a lot more if villagers had quests and werent deformed squidwards in straight jackets
charzhoopz: I particularly like the enchanting though, so i can own n00bs easier ;)
Andrew Judd: there are some real problems which detour minecraft away from what it is surposed to feel like which is a creative sandbox. I dont like echantments or the concept of "the end" but i guess you can avoid both of those.
Andrew Judd: also...the new sounds quite frankly are terrible...

Sam Wilson: After you guys log on, do you click on the 'Single-Player' Button or the 'Multiplayer' Button?
kacboy: Multiplayer
kacboy: instantly
kacboy: regardless of what I want to play
charzhoopz: Depends, if i have aproject in mind to build or a mod to test, single player. But mostly Multiplayer.
Andrew Judd: Um, it really depends...
Andrew Judd: Like if i have a project (which i do at the moment) i will go into single player but if i want to game with mates i obviously would go on multiplayer
Sam Wilson: Awesome :)
kacboy: I'm already on a server by the time I realize I should be in single player
Andrew Judd: haha xD ...but yeah, its hard to find a good server these days that doesnt lag becuase im so far away from USA and the UK where the majority of them are hosted
charzhoopz: I don't find many servers from here in the UK.
Sam Wilson: xD
Andrew Judd: Europe then, heaps are in France
charzhoopz: Desticraft is, that's pretty big.
Andrew Judd: never heard of it xD

Sam Wilson: Which do you prefer. Creative or Survival?
charzhoopz: Creative.
Andrew Judd: Survival for sure
charzhoopz: But Survival on servers
Andrew Judd: but if im map making then it has to be creative

Sam Wilson: Alright. Have any of you guys tried making a mod?
Andrew Judd: I have made a mod
charzhoopz: i started a while back, had all of the programs, but didn't have any ideas and seemed to advance for me.
Andrew Judd: but it was in partnership with a friend of mine
kacboy: Nope, I just bother my bud Hibbsi when I have ideas...
Andrew Judd: wait, i have actually made 2 mods and one was reviewed with GameChap xD

Sam Wilson: Awesome! Do you guys play with mods? If so which mod is your favourite?
charzhoopz: I ony play with mods to help me in creative - Single player commands, Zombes fly mod and Too many Items. I couldn't build without them.
kacboy: I don't use anything that ads new blocks, just things that improve upon what is game already
Andrew Judd: TMI, SPC, Spawner GUI, Zombes ...just the ones for map making
charzhoopz: I use to mod my game heavily, every new mod i could find xD
kacboy: So flymod, spc, watershader
kacboy: That wavy tree one
charzhoopz: Would use water shader, but i haven't got my new computer yet :
kacboy: Etc.
Sam Wilson: Haha.

Sam Wilson: What would you guys like to see added in future updates?
kacboy: Quests
kacboy: Thats all
Sam Wilson: I agree.
Andrew Judd: better villages...where you can actually trade
charzhoopz: Longer reach in creative mode and smoother flying.
Sam Wilson: Haha.
Andrew Judd: smoother flying so timlapses dont look so jittery
charzhoopz: You fly like ice in creative :/
kacboy: Problem?
Andrew Judd: yeah, thats why i get zombes
charzhoopz: Same.

Sam Wilson: What other games do you guys play?
kacboy: Uncharted
Andrew Judd: im not actually a gamer, i dont own an xbox or a PS3
kacboy: I like 3rd person action games
charzhoopz: Saints row 3 and any deadrising game.
kacboy: Assassins creed, splinter cell, batman, etc.
Andrew Judd: if anything i <3 1st person more than 3rd...feels un-natural watching over your own body
Andrew Judd: i would rather feel like your the one in the game
charzhoopz: I hate all FPS's.
kacboy: I like watching movies, thus i like to watch the character im playing
charzhoopz: Batman AC and Splinter cell are awesome too.
Andrew Judd: even halo? cmon...halo is amazing
charzhoopz: And Serious Sam.
charzhoopz: Can't forget Serious Sam.
Andrew Judd: Serious sam?
charzhoopz: *facehoof*

Sam Wilson: Do you guys own Minecraft Pocket Edition on iOS or Android?
kacboy: I do

Andrew Judd: I own an iphone but i havent bought it yet...its just creative right?
kacboy: :D
charzhoopz: No, i have the old minecraft WE on my iPhone. But i can't be bothered to update it, because i'll have to jailbreak it again so i don't have the new one.
Sam Wilson: Haha.

Sam Wilson: Why do you think Minecraft has become such a successful game?
Andrew Judd: its unique
kacboy: Its a sandbox
kacboy: And all the kids have come to pla~y
charzhoopz: For it's originality and it being constantly updated and cheap.
Andrew Judd: it inties creativity with survival and adventure...not many games do that theres days
Sam Wilson: Awesome.

Sam Wilson: What is the best thing about working for Planet Minecraft?!
kacboy: Power
charzhoopz: Meeting new people, and making new friends.
Andrew Judd: The members make it fun
Andrew Judd: the trolls are fun to ban also...just saying
kacboy: And what they said...
charzhoopz: Oh, and the hatemail from people i ban.
Andrew Judd: of course, of course...we get alot of that.
kacboy: ^^

Sam Wilson: Are there any perks for working at PlanetMinecraft?
kacboy: Juggernaut Pro?

kacboy: What do you mean?
Andrew Judd: yes, we get reconnised by the community and other people outside of it e.g. youtubers and what not
charzhoopz: Just making new friends, i don't go into servers and hope for promotions.
You tend to get greeted more with moderator, so it is easier to make friends, but sadly enemies.
Andrew Judd: ^^^

Andrew Judd: Slime...for sure

Sam Wilson: Most Famous Person from the Minecraft community you have met/talked to?
kacboy: At minecon i met bebopvox and deadmau5
Sam Wilson: Nice :D
kacboy: Block_fortress is up there now.
charzhoopz: Not too famous, but Dr_Kalashkinov or something. She made bordercraft text. pack and is associated with 'The Creatures'.
Andrew Judd: I have talked to Bebopvox, LDshawdowlady, GameChap and i am good mates with Block_Fortress who made a yogscast Minecon video
Sam Wilson: Awesome!

Andrew Judd: and of course cyprezz who owns a website with 180,000 members...
kacboy: Ya
charzhoopz: Yep :P
Andrew Judd: yeah she has like 12k subs...i would consider that famous xD
